I guess I can say that my Mom instilled a love of exploring new places in me. As a young child my family always took road trips at every chance we got. Granted they weren’t to an all-inclusive to the Caribbean – who did that in 1950’s? She did however make sure that my brother and I got to experience life outside of Bronx, New York.
When I grew up, finished school and moved into Manhattan on my own, my first job was with Americana Hotels which was owned by American Airlines, specifically for the Americana of San Juan (now known as the Intercontinental San Juan) and I was officially hooked on travel.
I have since been in the position as an administrative assistant in the marketing department of TWA and then subsequently, worked as an outside agent for a local travel agency who taught me the back end workings of a travel agency. In addition, some years later, I also worked at a Cruise Only Agency as an outside independent contractor and earned my MCC (master cruise counselor) designation.
Part of learning my trade was to experience travel to the destinations I was selling and I have never stopped enjoying traveling to destinations all over the globe.
I have a genuine passion for travel and I greatly enjoy seeing my clients enjoy their travels as well. Planning a trip can be stressful. There are so many options and details to worry about. This is where I come in – leave all the planning to me.I look forward to making all your vacations memorable.
